Structured Workplace Learning:
+ CareerLink is different from work experience - rather than observe what goes on, students are given the opportunity to complete tasks related to their vocational course.
+ CareerLink is a program that equips students with industry based workplace skills.
+ Structured Workplace Learning is a Curriculum Council subject and contributes to Secondary Graduation.
+ CareerLink teaches national recognised industry based skills.
+ Introduction to Structured Workplace Learning - Generic Skills are basic skills widely used in all industry areas.
+ Students select an industry area for the workplacement, which can be cross referenced to a Curriculum Council subject.
